    Default Installing a new bonnet

Hey everyone, I've just bought a new bonnet (required due to unforeseen circumstances which were entirely not my fault IMO ) and so tomorrow I'm looking at installing it (hopefully in a short space of time although it will mean I might have to miss a lap or two of bathurst ) anyways be that as it may, has anyone else changed a bonnet over, the window washers and gas lifters look to be the most difficult parts of the whole deal, anyone got any hints/tips as to how to get them off the old and on the new?

Well it's all done, unfortunately I did miss the end of bathurst, but the car is back to looking good again, you can barely even tell the bonnet has been replaced, had a bit of trouble with the piping for the window washers, but got it in the end. the whole process took about an hour. I do need to get it re-aligned, but it's not scrubbing or anything so that's the main thing which means it can wait for a week or so at this stage

lol, never done it before...and it was about an hour from start to finish yes because we had to remove and refit the latch, take a few of those plastic caps off the lining on the inside of the bonnet, take all the rubber stoppers off, take the window washers off and refit the lot onto the new bonnet (because they'd all been stripped off by the previous owner)

Just the two at the bottom of the hinge where the hinge attached to the bonnet. the bolts on the side of the hinge I haven't touched, I'm wondering if they could help align it properly?

I managed to align this properly in the end, didn't touch the side bolts, just loosened the bolts at the bottom of the hinge and shoved it across, so it's all good now
