Default VX cold air intake,w/pod filter need thoughts!

hey guys, i had a cruise with a vs, heard the pod filter going, so i thought i shud grab one, cause evryone has2 admit,it sounds pretty sweet.

so i found a CAI kit with this pod in a shroud..
has anyone seen one of these or bought one?
also is there any legal implications with having this type of setup?
and what exactly makes it a 'cold air intake?

im curious as to how it would go..

    any thoughts apprecaited.
    cheers.

It looks mint but stuff payin that much for one.

the filters are 20bux from autobarn/supercheap
and the shroud wouldnt be too hard to make

    hahaha true true,,
but if i was going to do it,id do it properly, id buy a k&n pod which is obviously alot better quality, and the shroud n maf adaptor im not too confident on.
so stuff paying 600 for a fitted ss inductions kit??

ive got a k&n panel filter which i could sell aswell as the stock airbox and mouth..
which should make up a portion of the costs...
