well i'm not a huge fan of the guages around the dash but what does look really nice and tidy is filling in one of the dins above the head unit with 3 guages. not sure which member on here has done it but it looks very clean and impressive. if your wanting gauges i would highly recommend thats the way you mount them.

gauges were cheap but the labour to hook it all up and make it look shmick is were the cost came into play...

Approximately $300 because of the oil temp gauge which can be very fidgety....

To me its been money well spent, I'll post up a video tomorrow with the volt gauge going mental off a good bassy track.... Good for giggles and reminds me why I go through an alternator every year or so!

Which part you talking about? The actual speedo? or the air-con buttons?

If your talking about the aircon buttons then yes you should have lights in them.... But the stock colour should be green.

Most likely you have some blown globes.

Common problem, easy solution = LED's!

the air con buttons !! they so look like they don't have lights in there
it looks like it is just solid plastic with paint on it !!
did they all come out with lights in there so i should just be able to replace a lt bulb
and if so is it easy ?? do i have to rip the radio out to do so??
hmmmm maybe i can change that at same time also

every VT/VX I've seen have them... even my POV PAK Vt Exec.

I think it would be a case of just changing the globes. & I think the CD player can stay in.... Just the actual facia need to come off and then the air-con should have its own screws to take it apart....

    Any dramas PM me!

some led's just pop in like normal globes.. But my ones have been soldered in I think. I would recommend sending a PM to wrx884 to find out what size bulbs you need!

How do you get that section out to replace the leds? The air con part, I mean.
