b4 i get my ss just wandering if any one can tell me how much it cost a year for rego for a v8 in qld and what am i looking at for insurance,,

But it depends on what CTP you go with. Go into Queensland Transport and goto rego for pricing, then its CTP ontop

Look up some CTP's and add them up.

With comp insurance, i dunno, do a quote...?

Far out thats not cheap mines only 325 a year for rego and 380 for a green slip....

QLD put the V8 and V6 rego costs up and doubled the stamp duty on V8's from 2% to 4% and V6's from 2% to 3%.

Its to try and make people buy "more economical" cars.

For eg, hybrids only attract 1% stamp duty and rego is **** all

for insurance.. I pay 1380 a year with an excess of 4 grand. pretty steep but thats because im 21 and I drive a v8 - thats with just car.
NRMA are suprising the next cheapest 1750 with an excess of 2400 - you can get quotes online and if u pay with a credit card some offer a discount
