Default How to tell a real clubsport

People are buying ID plates off ebay a dodgin up Clubsports from standard old commies. How to run the build no against the VIN and Engine numbers. Would a VT 5.0ltr Clubsport have an LB9 engine as an option?.

Just go to the HSV web site and search the VIN.

Like i said, 'ive' never seen one. There so hard to come buy, that when you do, they cost a ****load, usually more than the fake bodykit and badges put together.

Senators get the L Berlina model.

But the VT Clubsports do have a "N" for the engine code in the VIN (HSV engine spec)

I thought that from VX SII onwards they based them on Berlina or Calais. I read that in a review of the R8 in wheels mag I think it was.

Any VT Clubsport owners want to confirm a K or an L in their VIN's

    Holden Special Vehicles - Clubs

All have a K from what I can see.

My Vin is K however there are a few variables with the last of 5.0Ltr 195i clubbies, VN or VT engine prefix, and some variable VIN's Mine is strange being 6H8VTK69NWL******. apparntly?? We wil see if one of the more knowledgable members can help further.

When I do HSV check they reckons cant find exact match and then they display closest match, which is a descript, of the car. When I ran a mates VIN on his Clubby, same thing!! Now I have waited for a week and HSV wont contact me for Authentication. I bet they will take my money quick though, and probably lots of!!

I just want to find out if I got a real Clubsport or not, some joker gave her to me off ebay for $8500, I cant believe my luck.

Your VIN is spot on. N = VN engine prefix = 195i 5.0L engine.
