Default how to remove VX calais tail light??

i've got a friend with a VX calais and the rear corner tail light keeps droppibg in and out i've undone the 2 screws that you can see when you open the boot but can't get the tail light to release at the side?? is there another screw hidden up under there somewhere or is there a special knack to getting them out?????

The process is explained in the user manual.

You remove the 2 screws and pull the unit sideways. There are pins holding the side in, but they will pop out of their holder. If they've never been done before you might have to use a bit of force.

i tried that and on the inside of the tail light you can see where it's going to crack i just thought that maybe there was some sort of trick to it!!

Once the two screws are out give it a thump with the palm of your hand towards the rear of the car, no need to be to gentle.
