Auto? get your heavy left foot off the brake! You have to find the balance and get the revs up to drive through the brake.
It's quite funny actually, before the internet was around, you'd go and practice yourself til you get it right...now people are asking how to brush their teeth on these forums lol

well, for a static burnout, you stick it in gear with your left foot on the brake, just enough to stop the car moving forward, then slowly ease on the revs with your right foot, if it bogs down, you're using too much brake, if the car moves forward, you're not using enough brake. It's finding the balance that is what you need to practice.

you could try doing it with a bit of water under the back tyres too.

"had an idea for "show" that involves 2 pipes squirting oil on the wheels to make it ALOT more slippery, only problem is when you wanna stop youll still be all over the road
This is basically the same as most peoples, but my car used to do burn outs with both feet to the floor, but not now, so all I do is foot to floor on both pedals, take foot off brake till it starts to move then foot back on brake, hopefully if you have enough spin it wont stop the wheels. and if it does, I'd say you have very good brakes lol

try pumping the brakes before starting the burnout so the pedal is firm and hard to push down. Works with mine but its manual so it fckin cooks anyways

Not to change topic, but how are burnouts done in a manual? I can get the tyres to spin if I go from reverse to drive (which i know isn't good), but I don't know how to actually spin tyres in manual....

if you have replaced your filter to an after parket pod, try putting the original back in, my problem seemed to occur when I put my new air filter on....Car stays one gear lower until it gets to about 3rd gear then FLIES

in a manual you put your left foot on clutch, right heel on brake and right toe on accelerator, pump the revs, drop the clutch and move the brake in and out as you please with your heal while adjusting the revs on the gas with your toe. A bit tricky 2 start with but easy after a while.
Note just be careful where you do burnouts because doing them on the street is not legal is will result in fines and impounds. Private property is the go.
