single window to three window cluster

I've got a VX SS and i'm just wondering can you upgrade the intrument cluster from a single display to a 3 display? I was looking at a 3 display from a HSV. Is it a straight convertion or do u need to run a new loom? Cheers

na mate straight swap i done mine really simple

Just need to get the new one programmed to your car.
Done with Tech 2 at a Holden dealer.
Do a search there are heaps of threads on the subject.

While on the subject,i've been given this cluster,but the needle positions r bit worrying,r they ok or something wrong with'em?Apperently its fresh out of the car and working when it was in.

I got a question, just upgraded my from a single to triple window cluster. One of the lights for the window wasnt working, so I swapped it for a bulb from the old cluster. But its still not working. How can I test to see if its the wiring in the third window cos I dont think its the bulb

Just swapped clusters on my car and had the same problem. After changing bulbs a few times with no fix I just hit the cluster and it came on and has stayed on since.

If you have traction control make sure you get one that supports the feature.
I have a VT HSV cluster that didn't and now it annoys me 'cause I can't tell if traction is on or not.

Well the problem is sorted, i just need a new globe. I swapped the globe from a working window to the one I thought wasn't working and it works in there. The globes from a single window cluster must be different to the triple window cluster globes.
