Question Lowering VT please help

Lowering my vt. The drivers side strut tower nut (top) wil not come loose.
What do you guys recommend using to undo it?

Is it 22mm or 23mm?
and when I try to undo it without holding the shaft, it turns the whole lot

I tried holding the top... 10mm was too small 11mm was a bit big but held it.

so its definetly 24mm for the nut? the shifter I was using that was starting to strip it read 23mm? I dont trust shifters though..

Air rattle gun at this stage isnt an option as everything else is off except the strut nut lol and I dont have a compressor on hand.

Thanks

lol The reason I ask is that I moved to vic with the missus and all my tools are in Brisbane at my old mans.
Biggest spanner I have here is a 15mm hahaha
Needed to know the exact size so I can walk up to the hardware tomorrow and pick one up

lol its all good now.. I was walking back from the hardware store (which had no 24mm spanners anyway) and stumbled accross RACV working on a broken down ford. I asked him if he could undo it so he drove me home and did it on the spot for free haha
Im not even with RACV

I was using a shifter on the other side (which undid) but it was stripping the side I couldnt turn.
