Default VY Gen 3 Into VX wagon V6

I have aquired a Gen 3 (22,000kms) complete with loom/auto and tailshaft as we have got this all from a car we purchased from the auctions a vy ss gen 3.
This car cannot be repaired as the body is quite bad and would cost more to repair than to buy a good 2nd hand one.

I would like to fit this into my vx v6 acclaim wagon which has over 140,000kms. I do a lot of towing so the xtra torque would be nice. Can this be done? If so what else would be needed, has anyone done this? I have the whole car avaliable for parts im just curios if the loom fits or if there is anything i should be aware of.
Cheers
Matt

ok found lots of info, The loom plugs straight into the existing vx v6 loom and only requires the PCM to get the anti theft taken off of it....... So looks like this is a go ahead option now....

Thats pretty standard in most conversions anyway mate. I can use the current diff and tailshaft. I have everything here and also found that this VYss which the gen 3 came from has NOT got fly-by-wire on the throttle so its the same setup as the VX gen 3's had.

All that is needed to do this conversion is.

Remove current v6 engine and drivetrain/ k frame/ front suspension.

remove radiator

remove v6 engine loom.

I have the whole Gen 3 already still attached to the k-frame with suspension, trans and trans mount.

Install gen 3 drive line from under vehical (direct bolt up)

Install Gen loom, mount re programmed gen 3 PCM and PIM.

Install radiator/fans.

attach nessesary fuel lines/return brake lines/vac lines trans cooler. power sterring etc.... etc.......

Add fluids and it will fire up apon first turn, the PCM accepts the new key it has just read.

Question:.........I have a gen 3 fuel pump/cradle/sended whole intank fuel sytem from this VY SS, is this going to fit the wagon fuel tank?
