hey guys i have a manual vt supercharged and i need help with what exhaust to go with. i only have $450 to spend. so what are your ideas
a super6 manual, NICE!!!
Umm, is the engine stock? or whats been done to it?
i changed cams, computer and bmc other then that nothing
what type of power are we running at the wheels?
For less that 150rwkw id be going something along the lines of a 2.5" mandrel bent system, if its greater than 150rwkw and less than 170rwkw go for something like 2.75" and over 200rwkw go 3"
Ofcourse there are other variables as well
COST
Twin system or single
Extractors
High flow cat(s)
for $450 id be pushing for an appropriate sized single catback. let me know what type of power you are pushing and we can go from there
There is always arguments over what makes a super6 sound good.. And one that has come up is a twin 2.5" system into 3" single.

I was running pacie 1 3/4 headers into 2 1/2 inch stock cats with a Redback twin 2 1/2 all the way cat back and it sounded great. The headers are now on a mates car with the same set up and same engine mods but using a Redback twin 2 1/2 into single 3 inch.
That sounds better than mine did with the twin 2.5 inch so I guess you want to work out how far mods will go but if you are thinking of getting serious then I would recommend a twin all the way 2 1/2 system which can be had for $400.
single 3" and twin 2.5" flow about the same, and only become a restriction at around 300rwkw, you could get a twin 2.25" if you want something cheaper which is good for around 260rwkw iirc
