Security Code Not Working Help

Hi There I Have A Holden Commodore VX 2000, in my manual book i have the code 2616, and also was supplied the same number from Holden Australia where the car came from ( I live in NZ)
But when putting in the code, it doesnt work. It just goes to the next 2, then 3rd try then locks me out for the hour. Anyone know how to solve this? Or anyone else having this problem?

Take it to you local dealer, they should be able to tell you the code for $20 or so.

Maybe the radio was changed by the previous owner for some reason.

yep same thing happened with mine. You could try to remove the stereo and see if it's written on it or go to holdens and get them to use a tech 2 on it. If your lucky like I was they might not charge you as it only takes 20 seconds.
