Mate i found with my VT that if the oil level in the air con compressor is not exact the air con plays up badly. mine costs me over $1200 to fined that out!!! costly venture that was
And yet they claim you wont need to gas it for the time you have the car ?.
I had to have mine refilled and a trickle of oil added just encase, Cost a bit that little trickle.

Very expensive journey but now i have a different problem on my VT.
he says that my air conditioner motor needs replacing because every time i put my a/c on HI fan, it cuts out everynow and then, i know i dont have climate control... HA..... aparently its a "common fault", it needs an extra fuse or something i think its a load of crap but yeah if anyone can tell me different.... it would be greatly appreciated.

Mate stick your head under the bonnet and see if you have both "high" and "low" Relay switches there.
If you only have one it will do that. I had one and it would come on and off.

I spoke to a guy from holden about this, They say when sitting the fan should be on with a/c on. When you drive off it will cut off as speeds increase. And do the same in reverse when dropping speeds. It should not work like the fans when the car gets to hot.
