    Default interior/boot lights not working

    hey guys

just a quick question, well a few days ago, my interior light (the on on the roof) and my boot light stopped working at the same time. So obviously they run off the same circuit, and im thinking it would have blown a fuse, would this be right? or what would u suggest? and also where are the fuses located? id imagine under the steering wheel panel

    cheers guys

Yeh sounds like a fuse, just undo the panel under the steering wheel. should just need to replace the 10 amp fuse. use the map to find where it is

i had the same problem, iv got 12 sound reactive LED's, 2 x 30cm neons, 22" neon attached to it, i just upped the fuse to a 15 amp instead of 10, works a treat, and is all still protected

Isn't the fuse there to protect the wire that's providing power to the circuit? So upping the fuse could potentially cause damage to the wire that provides power from the battery to that fuse.. I don't know a huge deal about car electronics, but in general I know this is the case. You'll have to be care full before adding a much larger fuse, as the power wire supplying the power won't be protected, and if it isn't able to carry that amount of current, it will catch on fire.. Correct me if I'm wrong.
