    Default HELP vt power windows!

hey people!.....just noticed that my back left window has now kicked it.....and wont work using both the drivers power window console or the actual back left window switch its self....any one got any ideas on what the problem may be i did notice it to be a but sluggish the last couple of weeks....

i am going to replace all the switches but just wondering if it could be a motor or regulator problem?

    HELP!

sounds like you have burnt out the motor on the regulator. One quick test is to apply 12v directly to the regulator at least this way you can isolate the motor/switches.

You will have to remove the door trim to get at the regulator. Disconnect the plug at the regulator and connect 12volts (from a battery) directly to the terminals of the regulator. It doesn't matter which way you connect the positive or negative, because one way the window will go up and the other way the window will go down. If you get no movement then the motor is gone.

window regulators on ebay are about 40-70 new. You will have to drill out the pop rivits, and pop rivet / bolt in the new regulator... The back ones shouldn't be to hard.
