auto to manual conversion - cost.

hey people

just wondering on an average cost for what i need done.

need the gearbox stripped out of the smashed vt s pack i have. (PLUS ALL OTHER THINGS NEEDED FOR MANUAL CONVERSION) tailshaft, diff, etc..

auto tranny stripped out of current vt. manual conversion done etc..

whats the damage in labor on average ?

The conversion would take about 2 full days work and if a mechanic was to charge $60 an hour, your looking at close to $1000. Then you will also need new flywheel bolts at around $7 each and oil, possibly a new clutch. It gets expensive very quickly.

Yes a very expensive conversion. Just a buy a manual factory vt. Buy mine
