Hey mate ive got 3.7s in my auto and its awesome. for a manual go 3.9's. But i dont think skyline gears will fit in a vx. second hand diff gears for these cars are hard to come by. I got mine out of a vy clubby just got lucky. Also i know a bloke that can fit them for u for around 250 down here in melton.
cheers mate pm you
got 3.9's in my auto vx ss, your's would rev less then mine coz its manual.
sits on about 2300 rpm at 100k's, i think in a manual it'll rev at 1900-2000.
go 3.9's you'l be more then happy, i might try 4.11's once i get a daily and keep the ss for weekends.
3:09z sounding better and better thanks fellaz
u both live in altona go have a look. or come to melton and take mine for a spin
we should get some sort of western burbs cruise going too.
yer should get a small group of westies together for abit of a cruise.
yer if your from around here you can see how they go in my car dont no how it'll compare to a manual but atleast its something.
yeh would be good i know of a least 4 ls1 owners from the area. should organise somthing
soundz like a plan fellazim up for it!!!
i got 3.9's in my 5.7 auto....takes off like a cat with a cracker up its arse
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]a 10 sec pass is only a sniff of gas away
make sure its 3.9 not 3.09 otherwise u might be a bit dissapointed haha lumina does doing 2300 rpm on the highway kill the fuel??
actually make sure its 3.91
nah fuel isnt bad didnt really change much if anything, around the suburbs its great.
but when your right foot gets heavy it gets pretty thirsty
sounds good thanks boiz
