Hey my name is markie i own a vt commodore this morning when i turned my air con smoke started coming threw the vents after a minutes. does any one know what this could be?

no smoke coming from bonet just the vents when i put the cooling on cold air comes out and when i put the heater hot air comes out but within the minute smoke starts coming out of the vents

Are you sure it is smoke and not a mist, like fog?

Typically it means the blower fan motor has let go. Just run the fan at high speed without the air, if there is still smoke its the fan.

G'day, the problem is the air vent is jambed .It is an easy fix ,lift the plenum
in front the windscreen (passenger side) and their is a mesh grill ,lift it out and push the vent open .Problem solved .If you smoke in the car do not use recycling mode.
