SS Inductions any good? (CAI)

G'day,

My VT commodore, has a ecotec v6 in it, all I've done is put a 2.5" exhaust from the cat back.

I want to get extractors, and a cold air intake as I've been told this is probably the best thing I can do to it without going overboard.

I've been in autobahn, and they have these "SS Induction" kits. I've googled the crap out of them but can't see any forum discussions on it.

This is the one that I've been told to get:

Then also, extractors.. obviously pacemaker is the go? I looked up pacemaker extractors on ebay and can get them for 400~. When I got quoted at an exhaust shop for 900!

What do you recommend I do for performance, better exhaust note, and obviously lowest price.

Hmm found some threads saying SS Inductions is a complete waste of money and I'm best getting the MCAI (monaro cold air intake)

Would that even fit my ecotec v6?

Most people say they aren't worth their money, especially for a 6.

The MCAI is intended for an LS1 so I doubt it would do you any good.
