vt gigarette lighter replacement

whats the best and easiest way to replace the cigarette lighter on a 98 vt berlina. thanks.

one take center console apart
two remove cigarette lighter from centre console
three with replacement part fit replacment in same place that the old part came from
four reassemble center console.

take the two screws out of the console surround (the trim around the lighter socket) and pull it upward from the rear. It will unclip and slide up and out.

you can get your hand in behind the lighter socket from there. There is a big steel nut kinda thing holding the lighter in from behind. and remember to un-plug it

so thats the easy way to do it .... wow..... shows how much i know about changing em lol....
