Default Side skirts colour painting idea

    Hey all,

I've had an idea to paint my side skirts green... I don't think many people have painted this a colour other than the colour of their car, or black. I have photoshoped it up, and I must admit, I think it looks alright, granted it would take some getting used to haha.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Also, how do I get the black part off to paint it? Or do I actually have to take the front and rear bumpers off, and then mask the white parts, and then paint?? Oh the wheels on there are also photoshopped, they're the one's I'm planning on getting, but don't worry about commenting on them.

the wheels look like advanti's? if so then their not chrome but are nickle plated alloy

as for the skirts... they look alright in the photoshop job youve done but I doubt it would suit alot of cars like mine for an example..

If you lowered it, it will be easier to take the bumpers off to get the strips off but you can do it (with difficulty)

They're actually ANZ Wheels - Ghost, but they look exactly the same as the Advanti Medusa's that you're talking about.
So it's hard to get the black bits off is it? My car has been lowered, I've got FE2 springs in it...
Would it just be easier to leave everything on the car, and just mask all the white with newspaper?

yep it would be easier doin it that way.

when i re-sprayed mine i just masked front & back and removed the rubber strip from inside the doors then masked up.
The sideskirts are easier to remove but I had stripped plastic screws so I didnt bother taking them off

hahaha, yeah I think I understand what you're trying to show there :P. I was also thinking about doing the door handles the same green... but I think that might be going a little bit overboard :P

Actually, thinking about it, I don't think I will be going tooo over the top. It'll be different at least. Don't think that anyone else has done something like this.
