Angry My Vt - "Sang Me A Tune"

    2000 VT S2 ACCLAIM:

So anyway yesterday in the brisbane storms i stopped off at a servo around 10.30 ish last night to get some mobile credit. Car had been driving around all day and night never missed a beat or anything

i went and got credit turned my car on and immediatley my car started ringing like an alarm bell you know? Immediatley i noticed the oil and airbag lights stayed on and by this time i was rolling in gear. So i stopped and then lights went out and the ringing stopped but above my "mode" button a red light just kept flashing all the way home (bout 15 min drive home)

i didnt wanna stop and start again just incase the C**** wouldnt start again lol i had my mother in the car and it was raining heavy so when i got home, i turned it off waited 10 or so sec's started it and nothing started fine lights went out normally no tune. repeated about 3 or 4 times then thought well its not gonna do it again tonight. So yeah here i am in the morning asking your thoughts?

The only thing ive had done to my car recentley is ive had my leads and plugs changed like 2 or so weeks ago, and its last service was about 4k ago (i service every 5k) so i have new oil and filters sitting here for its next service

anyway please help out cheers guys

a lot of vts do silly things like that mine did it once yrs ago and hasnt done it since
and once temp needle went up high and i heard beeping so i stopped and restarted it was all good after that
a few mates vts done same thing too
    but only once
if it keeps doing it go to holdens and get them to put tech2 on it for fault codes its 40 bux service fee and some do it free

May have been a once off BCM cracking a wobbly.

No way to tell really unless it has logged some codes and the Holden dealer can scan it for you. Will cost $$$ for a scan.

But maybe better to find out what happened before it goes belly up 200 K's from home
