im just about to spray my car, the car is white and yes i have sanded the car back and prep'd it.
the spray painter at work says i might need a base cote depenmding on wether the mica gold is strong enough to show over the white ?
does anyone know or have experiance with this ?
he was saying if i was to base cote the car it would be in a weaker looking tiga mica gold, so then the true cote of paint will show up alot better ?
anyone have any ideas or anyone who has used mica gold before and advice is appreciated![]()
definitely put a base coat down, any paint supplier should be able to tell you which base coat to use, from memory it was either a dark dark grey or black.
