v6 vx calais overdrive

hey ppl.
my vx has a really hard clunk when it changes into overdrive (well thats what i think it migh be) but betwen 70 to 85 clicks it sometimes has a huge clunk it just dosent feel to normal and because its not all the time thing i just find it a bit harsh. what do you think???

Has anyone els had this problem or might know what it could be??

Check ya engine mounts for sagging, which might upset angles on the tailshaft.

Might also be centre bearing on tailshaft.

Does the car have a shift kit? Some shift kits eliminate the gradual converter lock up and make it an on/ off thing. Mine does it but not overly hard.

Ouch....... does not sound good, if the engine mounts aren't gone and the centre bearing isnt gone then its your transmission.... its gonna hurt to get replaced or serviced....
