Default Calais spec gauges in an ss

    Can someone please help?
    i have a S1 VT SS 5.0 w/ 5 Speed.
I have just bought a gauge pod out of a WH Statesman.
It works perfectly accept for the tacho, at idle it sits at 2500 rpm.
i have read about the fuel gauge not working, but it is great.

All other functions work perfect, the digital tacho (through holding down 'Mode' and 'Up') is accurate just not the main tacho.
this isn't a big issue as i have had the car for a while and know rev range very well, but it's enough to drive me crazy at times.

    Also,
Can the small 'x' in the bottom of the left window get cleared off?
Obviously that denotes a problem, how could i find out what the problem is (if it is seperate to the tacho)

    Cheers

It sounds like you just need to visit a Tech 2 and have it update your cluster with the correct information about your car
the x usually indicates a fault / error, but if your dash isnt configured correctly, id be hardly surprised if it threw an error....

the X is there because the stato has climate control and the lower model dosent
    I wouldnt worry about it
try a tech 2 to fix the tacho
    cheers GM
