have just noticed a hairline crack on radiator in my hsv gen 111 . it is on top drivers side where the upper radiator hose goes in . my question is can this be welded to be fixed or do i need to replace whole radiator . im running out of dollars so im a little concerned at the expense . its just ahairline crack . is there a glue or something maybe . Take it to a radiator shop and get them to change the end tank. They buy them for about 10 bucks, so ask for a price first and be wary. Usually they remove both tanks and clean the core as a standard practice. You only get a couple of shots with the commodore radiators, as the alloy tabs that hold the tanks on fatigue and break off after a couple of tank changes. Good Luck.
