    Default small question

i went to bridgestone the other day for a Front end alignment.
They have instructed me i need a "rear camber kit' and $490 worth of "z bar bushings"..... Ah...... whats a Z Bar and would it cost me this much to Do it myself.
Second question what is a rear camber kit and will i need one?

If your rear tyres are wearing badly on the inside, a camber kit will help.
Z bar (radius rod) bushes are expensive to buy but easy enough to replace. I'm talking about the big ones on the crossmember, they are also called dampers.

yes can get the front adjustable nolathane ones from repco cheap, fit them, then get the alignment done.

Pedders make a good rear 4 point camber kit, had one on for 5 years no problems with it, never needed readjustment even though i keep getting it checked

maybe that was for it all?

pedders is about $450 to supply and fit the rear camber kit, it is a but of work in that, to get the alignment right so it doesn't punch the diff centre out. and the front and alignment maybe $600 $700 all up for them to do.

or fit it all yourself, fronts easy, might need a big breaker bar on the nuts, they are tight. rear well thats a bitch.
