    Default Airbag light stays on

hey, ive got a 98 vt S pack. the other day i pulled the passenger seat out and undid the bolt holding the seatbelt down, and now my airbag/seatbelt pre-tensioner light stays on permenatelt.

any ideas what might have caused this and how i can fix the problem.

    cheers

There is only one way to get rid of the light, have it reset by Holden or someone with a Tech 2. Whenever you disconnect something to do with the air bags or pre-tensioners make sure you disconnect the battery first to prevent the airbag light from coming on.

They might not charge much, it depends on the dealership. It's not a big job, you just need the right equipment. Just call into you nearest dealer and ask how much, they might even do it for nothing if you lucky. I wouldn't count on that though.
