car won't start

hi guys i own a vt series 2 s pack....annd it wont start.
it wont even spark. its liek when u have it in drive and u try to start it. i know it has to do with the battery as the total odo wont even show on the cluster. and when it does attempt start ive noticed that the trip and the petrol usage has reset it self completely.

does any one have any suggestions as to what to do?

sounds like your battery terminals arent connected properly or are too tight, readjust your battery terminals and it should be on if not then your battery probably needs replacing after if it doesnt work.

do you hear a ticking noise when you take the key out of the ignition??
