C4B Motor in the GTS?
If you can find one, go the GTS man.
Hey i was thinkin of gettin either a Clubbie R8 or a GTs i just wanted to know what the difference was and which one would be the better choice?
if you go a clubsport, you'd want the R8. its got more features than the normal. but you prob know that already.
The way it's going you might be able to pick up a VE SS V, fresh off the lot, for the same money. I heard of a Calais V with 20k knocked off it in Melb today.
yeah new commodores goin for $29,990 how about that a!
HSV is coming down in price to. But if going with VX, absolutely go GTS.
depends on price really vx r8 are round 20k but gts is still like 35k its up to you to how much ya wanna spend
hmmm gts the r8s are ok but leather weighs more than fabric so the car will be slower .
plus leather gets sticky in hot temps i will never get leather seats in a car.
but hay maybe just get the new ve ss and supercharge it !!
id wait til next year pick up a ve ss for under 35K
MY VY SV8 HBD http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...y-sv8-hbd.html
^^you can already buy a used ve ss for around 30
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
If your going to go the Gts just be aware that the engines have been known to break valve springs and chew up cams as early as 15000ks... this can lead to a nasty rebuild cost.
With what you would save on buying an r8 you could spend on doing a few extra mods anyway.
