I recently bought a pair of Altezza taillights for my VX s2 and I've found that the bulb sockets don't match with the new lights. There are 4 spaces for my brake light and 3 for the reverse/indicator lights, but the stock cables/bulb holders are the complete opposite.
Do I have to edit the sockets or do I need to buy new cables for them? The light holes seem to be alot thicker also, so even if I manage to file off the plugs, they won't lock in anyway.
you should have got a completly new harness when you bought the lights.
take them back and tell them you want the harness's that belongs to them
Same thing just happened to me... some of these guys just don't know what it is they're selling and don't have the time or inclination to go past reading the order sheet//label (which was, most likely, written by someone who has never seen a Commodore let alone knows anything about model variances.)
End of rant, insert normality here.
