Hi
Anyone know about replacing the plastic (What's with that, Holden?) thingy....I have no idea what to call them... that the motor screws in and out of to raise / lower the seat?
Mine is all chewed out and my wife who is quite short needs to raise the seat right up when she drives the car and often the metal screw has popped out and the seat then flaps in the breeze. Must say it's comforting to know that the only thing holding the seat in place is a cheap, dodgy-looking bit of plastic!
So, my question is - has anyone ever had to replace one of those plastic bits, can you buy them on their own or is it replace the whole seat including airbag job?
Cheers
Pete

I would say if the OP hasnt replaced it after 12 MONTHS he isint to concerned about it.
Just found this thread again - I was the OP and for some reason I never saw any of the replies. I haven't done anything about it yet - just got it to hold in a happy medium for both of us and put it on the very long to-do list. The pic that was posted is a bit hard to tell if it is the same part as the one under the seat in my car is a light green almost white colour but I guess they could have made them in all sorts of colours... ? That said it doesn't really look like it. I will post a photo of it soon and some ideas I've been toying with to effect a repair. If it succeeds, I will share what I did.
