    Default Changed bearing and brake pads now trac light and abs are lit up ????

    Hi all , spent this afternoon replacing my bearing hubs and whilst at it changed my brake pads but now my abs light and trac light are on , connections are plugged in fine hmmmmmm, any ideas anyone vx2 berlina , thanks rich

    Try Resetting your Computer. Disconnect the power from the Battery for around 1 Hour and Reconnect. This will Reset the PCM and BCM.
    See if that Helps.

    tried it for about 30 mins earlier but still no luck,maybe i will leave it off all night and try tommorow,thanks

    When you got the hub did you get a hub that suits ABS. Not a standardas there would not be any sensor ring on the hub to match up with the sensor on the strut just an idea....

    i asked burson for abs hub so i hope so,but the sensor plug socket was there on the back,disconnected battery all night will see this morning

    theres also different hubs if u have ABS and IRS ie..

    lets say hub 'A' is only suited for Right side only with live axle and ABS

    Hub 'B' suited for Left side only with Live axle and ABS

    Hub 'C' is suited for Left side only with IRS and ABS

    Hub 'D' is suited for Right side only with IRS and ABS


    Non ABS cars use the same non ABS hub for either side

    but it is important that you get the correct hub to suit your car as the ABS will not operate correctly otherwise.

    no still not happy,left the battery off overnight to reset all memories,but still the orange abs light and trac off are lit up, all i can do is hope burson gave me the correct hub that i asked for or try the old one back on again and see if the lights go off, will prob do that next weekend and see how we go

    all sorted ,the plug wasnt pushed in quite far enough, good job i checked before i took it all apart again, ,thanks for the suggestions

    148 trade each side from bursons, nice easy job really as long as you plug it in properly
