I was told that both the 2 were just VTs with the VX front bar on them. All other parts on them are VT. Probably made with left over parts, and just thrown a VX front on. Although the bar isn't genuine, as they apparently have HSV stamped behind the numberplate.

Also no such thing as a VY senator wagon, there was a guy who bought a HSV which was driven off the back of a truck without the ramps, put all the gear into a wagon, and HSV recognized it as a HSV, think that was VZ tho.

I have a damaged front spoiler in the shed off my car, and it definately has hsv molded into it where the number plate sits...

maybe the dealership has put an aftermarket front splitter on it to make it look new again???

i believe hsv couldnt sell the senator wagons... and now i think they are going to give it another go with the ve.

My first time on JC, i have just purchased a 1999 VT Senator Signature Estate Wagon.220i and its a 6 speed manual. i contacted HSV and all they could tell me was it was specially ordered with the 6 sp, they could not tell me how many they made. And i love it !

I got some documentation because i was curious to how many VT senators were built. It says for a series 1 senator sig wagon...

it doesnt say anything about any other wagons being built so perhaps yours was one of these 27 built and put on special order with a 220i and manual box?

I was told there were under 10 with the stroker option. Never heard of a manual option on the wagon, i didn't think they'd do it (unless the first owner was ****ing Tom)

i am looking for a copy of the 220i kw stat sheet that you get in the HSV Compendium book. Thats the 308 stroker 5.7lt 220i. can anybody help me. i have everything else but that. i think it is 1 or 2 pages. HOLDEN GO BETTER !!

I can't help you, but its not a 308. Thats a 4.9L.

It would be closer to 350 or 355.
