VT calais stalled while driving,stalls when accellerate,rough idle

Hi everyone,Whilst driving my Vt home on freeway,it just stalled and had trouble restarting(just turning over)After about 10mins of trying to restart it did kick over only to be happy at idle in neutral (AUTO) or park.If engaged in drive or reverse it would idle rough and would only stall again if you tried to accelerate away.I have had a general visual check of hoses and also pulled throttle body out ,cleaned and replaced with no change.The only thing was ,when throttle body unhooked it would rev back on no rev.Now can't rev at all without stalling????Please any help

Did you sort this out? My VT V6 is doing the same thing, it will idle roughly in park or neutral and i can drive it at about 10kph but any acceleration and it stalls. I thought it might be the Fuel filter so I've replaced that, but same thing keeps happening. I've also bypassed the air filter thinking that may be clogged but nothing. Any help would be great.

Ended up it was the fuel pump
