Default New 36Lb Injectors on Vx Com, now Troubles

    Hello People,

Decided to install my new injectors today. After a bit of termial got them in and installed.

Now iam having a few problems with the car running. It's running a lot more rougher at Idle. Seems to variey idle between 500rpm and 700rpm, after taking foot off accelerator it drops to about 500rpm then rises again to 700 rpm or so idle.

In park i am able to rev as normal to rev limiter with no miss firing or sounds of abnormality. Once driving the car goes fine until about 3000 rpm then it hits a brick wall (per say). Sounds like the engine is miss firing and something is holding car back.

Anyone got any ideas of what the problem could be? I've checked all the EGR. MAF. Fuel Lines. Seals. etc. Could this possibly be a vaccum leak causing the problem? Or injectors playing up due to incorrect install?

P.S i've replaced the top Manifold seal as suggested by manual.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. At least i now know i am putting charger in and that comes with reprogramed ECU so that should fix the problem.

but it has to be programmed for those injectors, better check that or it still won't run right.

you can't change the fuel delivery without changing the tune/mapping.

the tune that comes with a charger is only a get me going safe tune, you still need to get it fine adjusted to suit your car specifically.
