another quick..possibly stupid question

ive just picked up a 1999 VT equipe very tidy well looked after unit
what im wondering is whats the differance between the exec and the equip, is it only cosmetic or what?

Pretty sure Equips have electric windows whereas the Execs dont.

I wouldnt think so, the only difference i thought of would be minor cosmetic or maybe electrical, oh and stuff like cruise control and traction control may be missing. But alas i cant remember.

i have cruise but no traction control, im very happy with the car id go say far as to say its the best car ive ever owned

I think cruise control and air con were standard Equipe gear whereas they were still an option for the Exec in 1999. I think the other things that came with the Equipe were the power windows, power aerial, alloys, specific trim inserts in seats and door trims, Equipe badge (wow!), maybe chromed exhaust tip. Not much to the package really, just dress up and the cruise, aerial, air and fast glass.
