I want to put a decent set of pioneer speakers in my door, like 280watts, i want to put a set of 4 or 5 way 6x9s in the back of the car (as in by the rear windscreen, so the speakers are right behind the passengers head) and i want to put one or two 12 inch subs in my boot. Can enyone help me with this? How hard is it to take out the stock cd player and put in an aftermarket one (the aftremarket player is way to small to fill in the huge gap from the stock cd player)
What would be the best headunit?
which amps would i use and how many?
what is the best sub that is 12inch?
Help please!
Oh and by the way, on the pioneer site what is the diffrence between the TS-W307D4 and the TS-W307D2??
Im getting a double din touch screen, looks schmick as although probably wouldnt be suitable for your application. Anyway this should be in the Audio forum, as the Audiophiles down there will know everything.
Holden headunit is easy to take out though, just cut up a coathanger to go in the 4 holes and hey presto it slides out.
oh tru?? so what will i do with all the remaining space after i fit my aftermarket cd player? cheers for the hint mate.
As for the single din headunit (stock is double din, hence why its so big), you can get pockets from autobahn etc etc that give you another pocket in the space.
Ah yep to easy, cheers mate!
mazda sell em too, for there little puzz boxes, plastic pocket single din dash compartment,
y dont u just get 2 way or 3 way speakers for the rear , they would look much better and and there is really no point for more the extra ways, i think that made sense. i kno it aint pioneer, but y dont u look at the alpine type s range? my friend got 'em and they sound petty good and are affordable
yea i got 3 way 6x9 kenwoods a.... trying to find some housing for them now.... installed my headunit in, looks good, jus trying to get hold of a amp for my 6x9s. cheers for the help fellas.
