    Default fuel needle sticking

well as the title says my fuel needle is stuck on full when the car is on but as soon as i turn the engine off the needle drops to empty. which makes me believe its a problem with the fuel sender? am i right and how to i get to it/fix it?

lol alright im not that dumb, what i mean is no matter what amount of fuel is in the car the needle just stays on full, i can have the car run entirely out of fuel and the needle will still stay on full and there is no problem with the needle sticking cos when i turn the car off it drops back to the bottom.

    so....
car on=needle always at full even when theres no fuel in it
car off= needle will drop back to empty which indicates needle is not sticking there is just a problem somewhere and was hoping someone would know

Either a sender problem or a bad earth at the sender. Check connector for the fuel pump/sender unit.
