I was drilling in the engine bay to mount a fuse and the chuck of the drill rubbed its way through the positive wire for what I believe is the emmision control (Box with steel pipes running from it mounted behind cruise control box). Since the chuck hit positive and the bit was contacting the body, sparks flew.
The car starts however my ABS and traction now dont work, any ideas?
cheers

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
You mean the ABS module I shorted??? I drilled into the body, the chuck wore away the wire insulation and shorted.
Ah, I realise now I killed my ABS/Traction module. ****.
I was watching where I was drilling not where the chuck was, The bit didn't hit the wire the chuck did.

Have you repaired the wire(s) and checked the fuse?

Checked the fuse, not blown and the wire was not broken just insulation worn away, electrical tape over the wire and then taped the wire bunch back together.
No strands appeared to be broken on the wire since I pulled the drill away as soon as it contacted and sparked. I will change the fuse over tomorrow just in case im missing a small crack.
