Gidday.
Been lurking here for ages now, great site.
I've had my VX for a year and a half and love it. I purchased it lowered, and it has super lows ( yellow ) springs ass end, all round actually, Too low for me as I cart heavy stuff in the boot often.
Anyone here want to do a swap over for some lows or something that will raise my ass end up about 1.5 ~ 2 inches? No dollars involved, just get together, a few beers and swap em over. Piece of cake.
In gold coast if it helps, or can do a post out but I WILL need to swap them over on mine first as I use it all the time for work
I'll consider doing all four corners if they are NOT standard. Just medium will be ok ie: half way between super low and standard.
Mmmmkay....
Cheers
I put SL in my front and want to put SL (46HD) in the rear with a camber kit. I have heard that it makes it unroadworthy and that the springs can fall out because the struts are not long enough. Is this true?
Do you have any pics of yours?
Have you had any issues with the SL in the rears.
Whoever said this is only half right.
I have super lows in the rear of mine with stock shocks.
There are no struts in the rear of a VT-VX. The housing for the spring is still compressed enough when you jack the assend up not to fall out.
Its all to do with the spring compression/suspension travel rate.
Its illegal if you have standard shocks with superlows but if you have shorter stiffer shocks youll be fine.
You will also notice your shocks will bottom out every now and then over certain bumps with stock shocks.
hey man u still up for a swap for those SL's? i have just Ls and i wanna actually go just a tad bit lower
