    Default removing rear springs in vx??

    hey fellas, i want to take out my rear springs on my vx sedan to replace them with lower springs..

    whats the best way of doing it?
    do i undo the shocker nut in the boot and then jack it up?? i dont have a trolley jack atm so i cant jack it up from the diff. ill have to do it 1 side at a time.

    jack it up, take wheel off, put handbrake down (off) and diff should drop then pull out spring and u laughin

    pretty much like GR3GA said, but u mite have to unbolt the lower shock mount, but i think from memory u just give it a yank and they fall out, the lowered ones r easy to put in, cause there shorter..

    yeh as GR3GA said choke the front wheels, jack it up, undo the wheel, release handbrake, undo shockie from wheel hub, then pull it out, just make sure u put the new ones in the right way larger coils at the bottem and depending on how low ur going cut the bump stops or when the cars loaded that is all ull be riding on, change the shocks while ur at it aswell to a shorter travel.

    have fun (spent an hour few weeks back doing a vy never knew had to have handbrake down lol and the bloke i was doing it with knew but forogt)
