    Default commodore key troubles!

    hello!
just went out to grab some thing from my vt series 2 s pack annd found out my car is no longer unlocking/locking it self via the unlock/lockbuttons on the key. it unlocked perfectly just wudnt lock. i then tried to unlock/lock the car by turning the key and then my trying the buttons again and they still dont work.
does any one have any ideas on what to look for/how to fix this issue? i really dont wanna take it to holden now do i want to buy another key as there the most expensive options?

Just take off the negative terminal for a few minutes.
You can replace the battery in the remote but it is not really easy as the key head is glued together and the battery is soldered in place.

Just get another key from Holden. $80 or something. Will get you another 8 years like you've had for this one. $10/year for effortless locking/unlocking. Not a huge price
