Level 3 cluster

Hey i got a level 3 cluster and am upgrading from my single window. I was wondering if anyone knew if i have to get my ecu remapped to allow for the appropriate kms and stuff

im pretty sure that data is kept with the ecu not the dash so the right kms for the car should show up when its in... not 100% on this though, can someone confirm?

Hey guys, I just did this in my VT. Unfortunately the kms data is stored in the cluster so whatever kms the car had done that the level 3 cluster came out of is what will show up when you connect it in your car. And you wont be able to adjust it unless its done less then 100 kms, so hopefully it was close to the kms that were done by your car prior to the swap.

yeah me to mine has just done 200 on the clock and the cluster says 150

so just to confirm....if i replace the level 1 cluster in my vt ss (series 2) to a level 3 cluster it will work ok. im not really concerned about the k's just as long as the other features work
