Hey Guys,

Just looking at buying a WH International with a Gen 3, now the car yard says they are going to ring vicroads tomorrow and get power to weight checked to make sure i can drive it.

Is it legal for them to Refuse sale after contract has been signed and deposit left?

Finance has been approved and insurance is fine

(VIC Pre-No V8 Power Rules)

Also does anyone have the weight of an international i figure it would be more beause of the sunroof/ satnav

lol i dont no how the insurance company insured u what one did u go with most wouldnt touch me while i was on my P's drivin the ls1 just cars ended up my only choice

i got refused sale of a vx ss by a caryard mate. somthing about them not being liable if u crash.

How much did you say it weighs? i only say you write 126, which isn't anywhere close to the KG's, and i don't know any other measurement that would be that number.

It would be around the 1800kg mark.

* Caprice Supercharged V6: 1722 kg

I assume it will be closer to caprice weight, being an International model! (My Calais International weights 200kg more than the curb weight)

1735kg, Specs say 220kw , Puts it out at 127kw per ton

I'd check if i was you. They'll do whatever they can to make a sale.

I don't think its against the law for you to 'buy' the car, even if its not legal to drive.
