swapping ECU

I've got a VX SS and am wondering if you can swap it's Engine ECU for a WH ECU. Both are 4spd autos and have LS1. Can you swap them no probs or will there be issues? Cheers

I'm reasonably sure you will need to get new ECU linked to the BCM with a Tech 2 otherwise it won't start. Why do you need to change the ECU?

ive just changed motor box harness and she wont crank on new ECU, put old one back in starts fine,thats were im stuck i dont trust old ECU cause ive thrown a piston at 5500rpm with it and she only has limited hidden info(no vin ,no pin, no needle sweep) my friend just put in a s.c long motor changed ECU and it fired first time ive got his old donk but my car does not like his computer ,any ideas people
