Im after a clutch kit and flywheel for my vt manual, went into repco asked for a quote and got told 1400 for the kit at trade price. Seen on ebay 1k for clutch kit with dual mass flywheel.
Im curious where everyone else buys there clutch kits from? How much? And also if anyone sells single mass flywheels for vt commodores.
When i change my flyhweel I would rather change it to single mass if they are made, but if worst comes to worst then i guess i will have to get dual.
Im more after a heavy duty clutch.
Thanks in advance
gslrallysport... They seem to be good with prices.
Avoid dual mass flywheels like the plague!! they are crappy...
Get the exedy HD kit.
Comes with a HD pressure plate, thust bearing, organic clutch plate and solid flywheel.
Thats what I had in my VX and i was quite happy.
Can't remember where i got it though... all i remember was gslrallysport had a price that was pretty good when i was looking around.
Cheers

Thanks

wouldnt mind that number thanks
sure then, its 9372 1604 or 9329 5255 and their email is "sales@acebrakes.com.au" and their in kensington, good place. mate stay away from them dual mass flywheels, you cant machine them and have to replace them whenever you do your clutch
You can machine a dual mass flywheel but its rather interesting work.
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
