This happened whilst i was recently holidaying in Robe, S.A., and im not sure how to fix it or look for the required part.
The housing appears to have broken just behind the pulley itself and where the bolt is secured into, i still have the pulley also. The RAA bloke that came out to inspect, installed the shorter belt (seen in the pic), in order to get me home, just without the aircon in use. He also angle grinded it so the new belt wouldn't get caught on anything.
Any help would be suggested as there is a mini heat wave about to hit Melbourne this week.
Looks like no one knows, myself included.
My advice would be to make sure that all of your windows can wind all the way down!
from memory the bit hes grinded down should unbolt, goto the wreckers and get another one, go buy a new pulley to be safe aswell, then bolt it all back on and slap ur old(or new if you want to) belt back on.
god knows why its done it though, overtightened bolt, previous damage from a front ender maybe.
