VT Calais Trannie

G'day, I have a VT Calais V6 Auto and I'm having trouble with the trannie. Driving along at any speed on a flat road and it drops out of overdrive and does'nt change back up at all. If I pull over and turn the car off and restart it, O/D works fine until it drops out down the track. Have had a manual shift kit fitted last week but with no change to the O/D prob. Any idea's please......Plug the scan tool on and it shows code 85 which does'nt tell me much other than its slipped........
