Don't bother mate. Just buy the standard holden one.
Their nickname is SS reductions, and for good reason!

You should be able to get a holden OTRCAI for around $110 to $130 (Thats the whole kit from intake to airbox and connection to the engine).

Mate you can get them cheaper off the internet and fit it yourself, however you wouldn't be getting $495 of benefit from it.
I am assuming the guys who replied are talking about about the S/C 6 CAI from Holden, but it only fits VN-VS so thats out.
There are some other systems around but to be honest you'd be better off doing a DIY job. There's heaps of threads on here about doing the 2 hole mod to your current airbox.
There is a Holden CAI for the VT/X aswell.

Oh i didn't know they were stock. Assumed o since the OP was asking (assuming he would have seen if his car already has one or not)

there's a few on ebay, but apparently the OTR setup doesn't do much with vt-vy v6's
the ss inductions kits are WAY overpriced, i wonder who would buy them..
i think the standard CAI from holden is around $70 for a v6
well ive also asked this question on BRISBANE COMMODORE CAR CLUB... and they have a few members that work at a holden dealership and they seem to say that holden dont stock em? CAI that is...

Think theres some confusion here mate...
If you take a squiz under your bonnet you'll notice the car has an OTRCAI standard.. given its not very big but its still effective an OTRCAI.
The one from Holden that people are saying to buy is one that was originally fitted to a VS Supercharged V6 because the VSs did NOT have an OTRCAI standard, they can also be fitted to VNS, VPs and VRs (we are talking V6s here don't forget). Most Holden Spare Parts places should stock the bits for this setup, hence why people are saying buy it frmo Holden, but you can also get them off eBay. That particular set of parts though will not fit onto a VT - onwards.
There are other companies (like SS Inductions) that do aftermarket CAIs, some are OTR, some are POD filters enclosed in an airbox and some are just a 2nd piece of piping which you can fit to your current airbox if you cut a hole in it. Most of these are pretty exxy and don't really offer great returns considering how much you outlay on the product.
Most people with ECOTECs make their own CAI by cutting a hole in the side of their airbox, getting some PVC ducting or something similar and creating another air intake down to underneath the car. Have search in this forum (VT-VX), V6 Development and the How-tos and youll find heaps of posts about it. For most people it costs them somewhere between $20-60 and takes a few hours to do.
Hope this helps.
ahh Tony thank you
yeah ive heard of this "2 hole mod" i might have a lookie at doing iiit but im not very crafty haah ill probably end up stuffin it up or something haha find some1 to do it for me :P
anyway thank you tonyyou helped aloooooooooooooot

No worries mate.
Yeah I haven't done it myself but from what I've seen it really isn't that hard. Worst case scenario you bugger it up and have to buy a new airbox.
